MINT 1950s American Character 13.5" Tiny Tears molded hair baby with original layette.
Darling little one, this Tiny Tears is from the mid-1950s with her hands down MINT rubber body -- no crazing, no flaws. All fingers and toes intact; arms and legs move securely to pose. Hard to find in such wonderful original condition.
Baby Tiny Tears comes dressed in her original classic pink-and-white dress set -- dress, bonnet and panties. Underneath she wears her triangle birds eye weave diaper with pink edging. She has her original vibrant blue wool felted coat and matching bonnet that was issued in a limited number of sets (1956-1958). She has her original embossed Tiny Tears (without signature) romper with pink ribbon ties. Pink-and-white knit booties complete her factory original layette.
ALL clothing in MINT condition, but for the panties that show light wear.
Baby's face is gorgeous, vibrant high-color and there is only the very lightest of paint wear to her pretty brown molded curls.
