This is one of the EARLIEST and RAREST hard plastic baby Toddler dolls made. Created by Madame Alexander in 1948, she is just 11" tall, and she wears her original TAGGED complete outfit.

Her name is simply "PRECIOUS"

This doll is rarely found and is in MINT unplayed with condition. This is a unique mold and only made ONE YEAR.

She wears a sunny yellow cotton dress with a matching bonnet and panties. Her original shoes and socks have never been removed. There is a small mark on the side of the full skirt and that is the only attribute to separate her from a mint doll. Her dress is tagged at the back, and closes with two tiny silver hand-sewn snaps.

Precious herself is PERFECT! She retains her high coloring with a porcelain like finish; all facial features completely intact. Lovely open and close blue sleep eyes work perfectly. Her deeply molded painted curls are rich and unblemished. She is strung firmly to pose and stand on her own.
