PRISTINE and Beautiful ... this EXTREMELY RARE Mint in BOX --- NEVER BEEN ON A DOLL -- FAO Schwarz Special Edition EFFANBEE 15" Dy-Dee Christening Set -- the BEST of the BEST. This set was produced during the NRA period and the coat proudly wears an NRA tag. The NRA Blue Eagle label dates from 1933-1935 only... dating this set to the EARLIEST Christening Set available for the Effanbee Dy-Dee doll. FABULOUS!!

Nestled in its original box with bright graphics on the inside of the lid, lay the garments Dy-Dee needs to fill out her trunk layette... everything is in MINT unplayed with condition. Set includes the following:

The Christening set is my favorite Dy-Dee outfit of all time. Gorgeous silk crepe, baby pink christening coat with matching bonnet; cotton organza long gown and under slip with French val lace trim and pink ribbon ruching on the bonnet. Simply outstanding.

The christening outfit is featured in just about every advertising piece associated with Dy-Dee from the early 1930's to the 1950's. It's common enough in the literature, but oh so uncommon to obtain. Here it is for your 15" Dy-Dee Jane. ..

HOWEVER, this set is fashioned exclusively for FAO Schwarz -- the coat and bonnet are different from the set in the brochure (see my other listing for the one shown in the Dy-Dee literature). VERY RARE and probably the ONLY one you will ever see Mint in Box.

Presented here to you in its original Effanbee Dy-Dee box complete with paper banner. Truly a wonderful addition to your Dy-Dee layette, and the envy of all.

The entire outfit has never been worn or laundered... essentially 'New Old-Store-Stock'. There is NO fading and NO wear to any of the items. There are no stains or odors -- amazingly well taken care of all these years it has been laying in its box. The gown is crisp and the fabric is strong -- completely wonderful.

Coat has the Effanbee NRA tag sewn into the seam as photographed.
