19th c. French bronze by Emile LaPorte (1858-1907) entitled "Innocence", c.1898. A nicely executed figure of a lovely young woman gently holding a dove, a symbol of purity, love and peace. Dore bronze patina. Artist signature on the base. LaPorte received several several medals for his sculptures over the course of his short life. Weight: 8 lbs. 14"h x 4.75" diameter.
