An 18th c. bridal armoire from Provence, made of solid walnut with a chapeau de gendarme crown above a hand carved olive wreath. Two doors having two raised panels each, opening to three shelves, one having a set of two drawers and below, a pierced apron ending in scroll feet. All pegged construction with square nails. Pine is the secondary wood. Warm waxed patina. Hardware is original and the lock with key is in working condition. This armoire is in great condition and was well cared over the years by its previous owner.
