From the South of France, this 19th c. verrio is made of solid walnut with a two panel glass door having the original panes. Scalloped drawer with simple carved sunflower surrounding the small brass knob. Two front scroll legs. Mortise and tenon and pegged construction. This vitrine has hooks on the back to hang on the wall and was used to display glasses in the kitchen. All in good condition with a warm waxed patina and retaining its original glass panes. Circa 1880-1900. 32"h x 18"w x 8.5"d. The inside depth is 7.5" and at the crown the overall width is 20.5"
