For your consideration I am offering a fabulous archive of one Juris Jansons. Juris was a Boy Scout in Europe and an Eagle Scout in the United States.

Juris was born in 1931 in Riga,Lativa to to Fricis Jansons and Emilija Markus. Juris was a “forced member of Hitlers Youth and later the Latvian Boy Scouts Latvijas Skautu Organizācija during the occupational period right after World War 2. In 1940, after the Soviet occupation of Latvia, a special officer was appointed by the communists to abolish Scouting. Scouting continued unofficially and underground, operating without uniforms and in the forests to avoid detection. Juris family escaped the Communist held nation around 1947 and immigrated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he became an Eagle Scout. Later Juris served as an officer in the United States Naval intelligence and his later years as a CIA Agent. He passed away on August 2nd 1978 in Reston, Virginia.
