For your consideration I have a beautiful early Chinese mud figure. This early piece was brought over back home from a World War 2 Merchant Marine veteran. The figure stands nearly 5 inches in height. This exquisite example like all originals were all handmade, no two figures are ever the same. Original pre-WW2 mud figures have holes in the clay for their eyes, ears, nose and their faces, feet, hands, and any exposed skin is left in the natural clay form as this museum example displays. This work of art is worthy of any finer collection.
