Well organized pocket- book style diary of two oceanic globe hopping sisters who traveled the seas in the year 1915 aboard the RMS Aaro and the ill-famed Lusitania. The sister’s journeys contain 50 pages of photographs and hand-written experiences. Most notably there are uncommon photographs of the exterior and interior of the Lusitania that is carefully pasted on the pages of which they sailed on, along with inscriptions of the seemingly exotic ports these sisters visited and entertained during a adventure of a lifetime… Which includes a page totally devoted to the travel miles of every port around the world they visited. There is a notation on the cover of this diary that boldly states; "We know not what is ahead of us and that is a blessing to start with"… Certainly this was a fabulous life changing journey it was as they traveled by boat, train, horse, wagon and foot to places around Europe, Scandinavia and the United Kingdom beginning in Philadelphia on June 23 1914.
