For your consideration I am proud to offer an exquisite Victorian photographic album of a affluent Boston, Mass and Bar Harbor, Maine family. There is also Cabinet Photographs from Family members living in Ohio and Tennessee among other locations. The photography in this album is of the upmost quality and professionalism. These are by no means your typical pedestrian images so often found in old albums. The fine tooled leather photo album weighs nearly nine hardy pounds and measures 11” x 14 inches; being 3” inches deep with fine 24 kt. gold leaf edges. This album also has a stamped patent date of June 22 1875 with the maker’s family crest of identification stamped in the brass clasp. When opening you will see a series of stunning Cabinet Photos of a young girl with her dolls, these particular images were taken in Tennessee by photographers McCrary & Branson noted for their Civil War period photography.
