Rare Hardin County, Tennessee Land Grant to Daniel Cherry for 50 acres for past military service signed by the Governor of Tennessee William Carroll dated June 25th 1823. There is fairly good amount of information on Daniel Cherry and his service in the Revolutionary War for the Continental army.
From records in part: Isom, James Neal and Daniel Cherry settled on Horse Creek about ten miles southeast of Savannah where their family name has been prominent in political and financial circles for years. Document measures 11’ x 15 and has a section missing; Otherwise in good condition with strong signatures. Please examine photos provided.
