A wonderful and (exceedingly rare) original 11' x 20 photograph showing the legendary Movie Star & Cowboy Tim McCoy and his worldwide Congress of Rough Riders. This photograph was taken in on June 11th 1935 in Newark, New Jersey. McCoy and his Rough Riders were traveling with the Ringling brothers of Barnum & Baily Circus. McCoy attempted to revive Buffalo Bill’s Congress of Rough Riders but this brief barnstorming tour folded after less than a month on the road and Colonel McCoy was back in Hollywood filming the new talkies. Interestingly enough the bi-line states “Fertured” instead of the proper spelling of featured. The photographer is listed as E.H.Kelty of 110 West 46th street New York City. Given this group did not last a month this photograph may likely be one of few known to exist... As rare as rare get’s.
