Scarce original newspaper from the Atlantic City Central News which headlines the military draft lottery numbers. Which includes in a separate article that the son of ambassador Joseph Kennedy, John Kennedy became number 18 on the local draft board of Palo Alto, California. Interesting to note that actor Jimmy Stewart was also the first Hollywood Star to receive a lottery draft number.

Newspaper measures 16' x 23 inches and is dated Tuesday October 29th 1940. Four pages in all with the funnies section.
