Strange harsh hand written four page dissertation by Jules Feiffer titled; (Why) Men really don't like Women. Feiffer (born January 26, 1929) is an American syndicated cartoonist, most notable for his long-run comic strip titled Feiffer. He has created more than 35 books, plays and screenplays. In 1986, he won the Pulitzer Prize for his editorial cartooning in The Village Voice and won an Academy Award in 1961 for his animated short Munro.
Feiffer's "unique" observations on Women,Negro's and Jews leaves no mystery as to his true feelings, in closing calling Women victims or aggressors of sexual McCarthyism. I have scanned each page for your own personal reading. This dissertation or musings was likely done during the sexual revolution of the 1960's. I would have to believe Fieffer has altered his personal feelings since he wrote this letter nearly 50 years ago? Interesting enough this four page letter was hidden in a vintage photo album bought a garage sale here in St. Augustine with early photos of Fieffer.
Each page measures 8' ½ x 11 inches.
