This 1974 reader is titled Cowboy Sam and the Fair and is in excellent condition. The yellow and red cover has a full cover picture with Sam and a bull at the fair. The illustrations are colored in red, gold, black and very detailed. The story is about a cowboy and cowgirl, cattle and teen rustlers and a trip to the fair. The only mark on this book is a black mark over the name of the library it set in on the first page. The binding is in good shape and the corners show no wear. This book, one of many in a series, was written by Edna Chandler and printed by Benefic Press Chicago. The back pages have a word list for young readers. A nice addition to your cowboy Sam collection or children's book collection.
