This little 3 ¾ inch pomander is just so pretty with its raised flowers and gold spire top. The large five pedal yellow flowers have a pink rose center and light green peaked leaves. It has a 1 inch spire with holes around the cap top. I do not see any cracks on this piece which is amazing with its delicacy. The piece has three groupings of gold tipped scent holes with seven holes in a circle in each. The bottom has a plastic plug and it still has some powder in it which I will let the owner remove if they wish. The upper portion of this piece has a sheen but the base seems to be unglazed. Feeling the edges of the leaves there is one spot that feels a bit rough but I cannot determine if it is altered by damage. It appears so natural on the leaf that it is hard to tell. The bottom has the word "Kate's" written on it that I suspect someone marked for the owner or it is the artist in gold ink. To me it just adds charm to a classic piece.
