This is a Ronson “Varaflame Valiant” lighter. It has a Modern look. The lighter has a green heavy stone case which is in a muted two tone light jade color. You can see light line striations in the stone. It sits on a three footed metal stand in brass gold color. The bottom reads, Ronson made in England. The lighter portion has a cap gold in color. It has a large almost one inch finger button you press down to strike the lighter mechanism. The barrel lighter mechanism sets into the stone design. It has a label inside that reads “Varaflame Valiant” fashioned by Ronson Woodbridge ,NJ, U.S.A. The lighter has what appears to be masking tape around the cylinder. I believe it is there to help the lighter grip the cylinder tighter from the inside. The edge of the stone part has one blemish spot in white, please see the picture. The lighter itself needs some cleaning but I leave that for its new owner. I do not know if this lighter works as it has no fluid in it. This is a great collector item and is really very handsome.
