This Lefton bell is a beautiful example of the china made by the Lefton china company. The bell is white with a gold tipped handle. The front of the bell has two red cardinals on it. The birds are surrounded by green holly leaves and red berries. One of the cardinals is sitting on the branch and the other is in flight but they are very recognizable with their black eye markings. The top of the bell has a gold band around the base of the handle. The inside of the bell is white and has a white dinger anchored by a thin gold wire. The bell has a red sticker that says Lefton, trade mark exclusives, Japan. It also has a stamp that reads Lefton China, a crown symbol, 1984,04547 Great Lefton. The bell has a nice weight to it and a gentle full ring. A pretty piece for a bell collector and a nice Christmas gift as well.
