Sophisticated English toast rack that could certainly be repurposed for other desktop uses. This is a piece of Sheffield silver plate made by the Thomas Harwood and Sons firm which produced pieces until 1896. It is hallmarked EP along with their Sheffield marks on the central piece. The patent mark #8799 is on the reverse. The piece is a row of six arches supported by four silver ball feet. This is a substantial rack in very good condition although it could use a thorough polishing; I have left it as is. It measures 7 3/8" long, 3 1/2" wide and 6 1/2" tall.
