It’s fun to serve up food and drink in special dishes like this circa 1950s Cottage Teapot with matching Creamer and covered Sugar Bowl. The teapot measures 6 ¾ inches across from handle to tip of spout by 3 3/8 inches wide. The house portion is 3 3/8 inches square; teapot holds 1 ¾ fluid cups comfortably and comes with lid. The Creamer measures 4 3/8 inches across handle to tip of spout by 2 3/8 inches square; the covered Sugar Bowl measures 5 inches across handle to handle by 2 ½ inches square. Color is good; teapot has fine crazing but blends into color giving the teapot a somewhat textured look, it can barely be seen through the colors. The creamer and sugar bowl are without crazing. All pieces are clean and in excellent usable condition. Although pieces are unmarked I am quite certain it is Japan made.
