Wedgwood Jasperware always, always, makes a statement. This lovely set with Grecian motif and acanthus leaves encircling the lids of both the sugar bowl and creamer, dates from mid-to late 1800s. Impressed on the bottom of each piece is the word: WEDGWOOD. The sugar bowl carries what appears to be the number 42 with the letter A; the creamer also carries what appears to be the number 42 but with the letter D. Aside from a small age crack inside the creamer (it is not visible on the outside) when tapped remain solid. It is in good vintage condition. Except for a light dusting with a soft brush, the pieces are as we found them. Creamer measures 3 inches high w/lid; sugar bowl measures 3 ¼ inches high w/lid and is 4 ¼ inches wide.
