Offered here is a 19th century Primitive Hand Carved Wooden Butter Paddle/Scoop measuring 8 ¼ inches long with curved hook end to better fit the hand when digging into that wonderful creamy butter and to rest on edge of wooden bowl and not slide off. These were also used to scoop butter into butter press molds with plungers. The actual scoop section measures 4 ½ inches across at widest by 4 ¼ inches high. It’s a nice one with unusual dark splotchy spots on deep color wood with a smooth patina. Butter Paddle is in good age-related condition. Sales tax must be collected for buyers living in or picking up in New York State. Local tax rate applies.
