Offered here is a late 1800s primitive Tin Sifter with enclosed Crank Handle. Embossed on the outside reads: HUNTER’S SIFTER Standard of the World, THE FRED J. MEYERS, MFG CO., HAMILTON, OH., NEW YORK. The sifter measures 10 ¾ inches long including handle; the container measures 6 ¼ inches high at front by 5 inches high at back. Diameter is 5 inches. The sifter has been cleaned, (I removed the worst of it), and it’s now in good age-related condition with mild expected wear. The tube enclosed crank handle turns freely, the wire-wheel sifter spins freely, the screen is securely intact with no rips or catches and is amazingly free from heavy corrosion. It has aged well.
Sales tax for all states that require it must be added and is calculated on purchase price including shipping and handling.
