Offered here is an unmatched pair of late 1800s-early 1900s Wooden Cookie Molds (possibly Dutch). The carvings are non-descriptive suggestions of animals, so I’m unable to determine exactly what they might be. They are quite primitively carved, but done nicely with clean figural cuts and textured bodies. Imprints are ¼ inch deep. Each mold measures approximately 15-15 ½ inches long by 2-2 ¼ inches wide by 1-1 ¼ inches deep. The molds are clean and in excellent aged-related condition. They would definitely add a ‘warm welcome’ touch to a kitchen. The leather ties at top for hanging are old and brittle and have split apart.
