Offered here is a 19th Century Primitive Grain Bin in original mustard yellow paint. Much of the paint is in age-related alligator condition; it is smooth and fine, not chipping, a texture that only age can harvest. The bin is open top & slant front, with square nail construction and measures 49 inches long by 17 inches wide. Height measures 33 ¾ inches tall at back (measurement taken from bottom of leg to top edge at back) by 29 ¾ inches tall at front. Measurement of each bin is 11 inches deep at back by 6 ½ inches deep at front by 14 inches front to back. Inside length of each bin is approximately 25 ½ inches. Bin varies at different angles so measurement cannot be exact. These grain bins are often used today for potted plants. Grain Bin is in age-related condition. It’s a wonderful piece of Old Farm. Sales tax must be collected for buyers living in or picking up in New York State. Local tax rate applies.
