Offered here is a ca. early 1900-1909 Yellow Ware Batter Bowl with Pour Spout. It’s a hefty size with a 14 ¼ inch diameter, measuring straight across to end tip of spout. The height is 5 5/8 inches high. It’s clean and in exceptionally good condition with some expected age related wear, but no cracks or suggestion of cracks and no chips in the pottery. The mark on the pour spout is a wear spot in the glaze. It is not a chip in the pottery. You will also find a few around the outer rim edge and in the bottom from wooden spoons being twirled to stir scrumptious batters for cakes and in the resting rim on the underside. The mottling-wear on the interior bottom of the bowl is quite light and is smooth to the touch. The complete surface on the bowl retains a rather nice shine with design around the outside. Definitely collector worthy or quite honestly, I would use it. It’s really a nice one. Sales tax must be collected for buyers living in or picking up in New York State. Local tax rate applies.
