Offered here is a 19th Century Pedestal Mounted Picture Frame. It appears to be handmade and grain-painted. It’s quite nice and somewhat unusual. The wooden frame and base measure 9 ¾ inches tall; the base measures 4 5/8 by 3 ¾ inches, there is another step-up block of wood on top of that, it measures 3 ½ inches by 3 inches. The frame alone measures 8 ½ inches by 6 3/8 inches. Interior measures 4 x 6. Glass is intact and without cracks. Inside rim edge is painted gold. We found the frame in Maine. There is an old sepia tone photo inside; it is a rolling hills and mountain landscape that appears to be maybe somewhere in NH or Vermont, could be NY. The frame is clean and in good displayable condition. Sales tax must be collected for buyers living in or picking up in New York State. Local tax rate applies.
