Here is a charmingly dainty Chamber Pot with lid. It's not too often that these lids survive the years and this one is probably late 1800s-early 1900s. Both the bowl and lid have a lovely handpainted daisy pattern over wide candy cotton pink bands. Bands are edged in gold. Gold can also be found on handles. Bowl measures without lid 5 ¼ inches high, with lid it is 7 ½ inches high; diameter of bowl measures 8 ½ inches. The bowl and lid are both clean with all over age related fine crazing. The bowl is quite pretty with a hard shiny surface. Back stamp reads: WARRANTED IRONSTONE CHINA ETRURIA POTTERY. I just think this is such a pretty bowl, the design is captivating. The daisies painted on top of the wide pink bands, and the color choice in leaves makes this Chamber Pot a very captivating addition for the collector. Great Shabby Chic piece too.
