S.F. Denton Antique Print - Lobster - image 1 of 1

Offered is an S.F. Denton Antique Chromolithograph Print of an American Female Lobster.
The Forest, Fish and Game Commission of New York State from 1895 to 1909 produced annual reports that contained unbound folio sets of exquisite color prints illustrating fish, birds and other wildlife. These beautiful plates were executed by some of the nation's foremost nature artists and illustrators, namely Louis Agassiz Fuertes, Sherman Foote Denton, John L. Ridgway, and Oliver Kemp. These chromolithograph prints are widely admired for their detail and color. Each print measures 12” by 9-3/8” and is in a protective poly sleeve on a 3/16 inch thick foam core board. There is a small age stain on the left side edge. Sales tax for all states that require it must be added and is calculated on purchase price including shipping and handling.
