Offered here is a 19th century Windsor Arm Chair Commode with braided seat pad. It has birdcage back in original black paint with gold painted floral on seat front; gold painted decoration can also be found on rungs. Chair is in sturdy age-related condition. Cutout in chair seat was put back and is reinforced from beneath. At what time this was done, I have no idea. We acquired the chair as a piece of history; found in way northern NY. All and all, it’s a handsome chair…and quite comfortable too. Sales tax must be collected for buyers living in or picking up in New York State. Local tax rate applies.
