Vintage Ronnaug Petterssen Doll MIB!
A beautiful 8" Norwegian doll created by doll artist Ronnaug Petterssen in Norway post World War II.
The doll is beautifully dressed as a Gudbrandsdal girl in her provincial costume sewn from black wool and felt detailed with colorful embroidery. The well constructed colorful costume features fine details such as excellent quality materials, and hand-embroidered accents. Completing her outfit is a white blouse and black felt shoes. The white portions of her outfit is not discolored.
The doll is all cloth and measure 8" tall. Her pressed, painted felt face has been painted in a sweetly expressive manner with side glancing eyes. Her hair is blonde mohair. The doll is in excellent condition and in an all-original costume. Comes from a smoke free home.
This doll has the original box that has the round blue & gold foil tag that was on the doll on the front of the box. The box lid has some wear, taping and some red ink marks. See Pic.
Wonderful example of the artistry of Ronnaug Petterssen!
