Occupational cabinet card photograph showing a blacksmith proudly posing in his leather apron. A nice image taken in the 1890's judging from his handlebar moustache and his hair style. If you look closely you can see a crude patch in his apron on the area of his right knee. On the table beside him are the tools of his trade along with a horseshoe. The watch fob across his chest leads to a heavy sag in his pocket which is most likely his watch.
Wonderful occupational image taken by Jenkins Bros. in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Some soiling and pin holes in the corners but the image is clear.
