This listing and the price shown is for your choice of one (1) of the rooms shown in the first picture.
The Warren Paper Products Company was founded in 1921 and made cardboard and paper toys for children. The dollhouses and furniture were made from the 1930's to the 1950's. All were made of fiberboard or stiff card and came as kits to be easily assembled with tabs and slots. There were many different houses to choose from and 5 rooms of furniture. The scale is approximately 3/4"=1'.
Here are 4 of the 5 rooms; Living Room, Dining room, bedroom and 2 kitchen styles. Missing is the bathroom. All contain from 6-9 pieces of furniture and also small decorative items like paintings, floral bouquets and dishes. There are 2 (known) variations of the furniture and the other is shown in our reference book*. The pieces shown there are much less detailed and colorful. It is not know which variation came first but if the item numbers are indicative, these are later (except for the one kitchen).
All come in the original boxes and have never been assembled. We looked each sheet over carefully and all are complete except for one missing plate in the larger kitchen set. No bends, tears or damage to any of the sheets. The instructions are included in all except the odd kitchen where they are printed on the cardboard sheets alongside the parts.
The boxes are also in pristine condition with no corner breaks, tears, water marks or damage of any kind. The smaller measure 8" by 6" by 3/4" and the larger kitchen box is 8 1/4" by 7 1/4" by 3/4".
