This adorable little wooden dollhouse sink could be used in a bathroom, laundry room or even a smaller kitchen. Made of wood with glued construction and small brass tacks for door handle and water knobs. The faucet is a piece of bent wire. Enameled in white or light ivory.
Made in 1" or small 1" scale depending on its usage. Measures 3" tall, 2" wide and 1 1/2" deep. Functioning door, back splash and kick plate (painted black).
In excellent condition with some light paint seepage on inside wall of the basin and very minor paint chipping on one side, bottom and a few tiny spots of loss on the edges. No breaks or repairs.
Shown in the last picture with a larger kitchen sink made by the same unknown maker. This is shown on page 84 of Dian Zillner's: "American Dollhouses and Furniture from the 20th Century". The description reads: "...1" scale kitchen pieces purchased from F.A.O. Schwarz in 1938...."
