A nice dollhouse mantle clock made of solid wood with a paper dial glued to the front. The body is carved from one piece that is glued to the 3" by 5/8" base. Total height is about 1 1/2". It is perhaps slightly larger than typical 1" scale and the fireplace shown in the 2nd picture is 5 1/2" wide by 4 1/2" tall.
The dark stain with a reddish cast is typical of the so-called 'Red Stain" or "Red Line" furniture that was produced in Germany in the early part of the 20th Century although much of this was a smaller size so this clock may not fit with this furniture. The last picture shows it with other more typically sized red-stained furniture for size comparison.
In nice condition with some minor chipping around the edges of the paper face. Retains the paper label on the underside reading; "Germany".
