This miniature dollhouse table was made in Germany by Moritz Gottschalk in the early part of the 20th Century. The company is known for their elaborate doll houses that are highly prized by collectors. The company also made a limited amount of furniture in several sizes to fit their houses.
This table is made in 1/12 or 1" scale and measures 2 1/4" tall, 3" wide and 2" deep. Fabricated of light wood with pressed cardboard leg and stretcher pieces and heavily enameled in reddish brown with gold highlights. The color is lighter than some other Gottschalk pieces and the table is shown with a darker settee in the last picture for comparison.
In very nice condition with no bends, breaks or repairs. Some small dark spots on the top.
