This nice steel stove was made by the Arcade Mfg. Co in the early part of the mid 20th Century c. 1925. Made of sheet steel and cast parts with nickel alloy gas burners and enameled in cream with black and gray accents. "Roper" is cast into the top oven door.
Two ovens on the right with the cook top and a warming area on the left. The black grates are separate pieces and both oven doors open.
Measures 6" tall, 5 1/2" wide and 3" deep and weighs over 2 pounds (un-packaged).
In relatively nice condition with no damage other than the paint chipping that is commonly found on Arcade and other metal toys from this era. Please use the photos as further illustration of condition.
This stove has been recently reproduced by another company and the reproduction is very similar to the original. The major difference is that there is a warming area above the two ovens on the right side. This is the original model and is marked; "Made by Arcade Mfg. Co." on the back side.
