This charming dollhouse toilet was probably made in Germany although it is not marked. It is similar in design to other old German bathroom fixtures and shown in the last picture with a few examples. This picture also shows the uncommonly small size compared to the others. The more modern toilet on the left is 1" scale and is close to the same size as this one.
The 'L' shaped frame measures 3 3/4" tall, 2" wide and just under 3" deep. The toilet itself is about 1 1/8" wide and 1 3/4" deep.
Both lids function and are attached to the pedestal with a small hinge in back. The upper tank is connected with small wire replicating piping and the flush handle is a small tack. It has an old repaint and the original color (similar to the ivory of the other pieces) can be seen in places.
In nice condition with no actual damage but paint chipping and lighter application in areas and an overall vintage appearance.
Dated to around the turn of the 20th Century.
