This tiny porcelain tea set was made in Germany in the early part of the 20th Century, prior to WWII. Believed to be complete as all the pieces fit perfectly on the little tray. A total of 9 pieces including the tray, tea pot and lid, creamer, open sugar bowl and two cups and saucers. Made in 1" scale; the tray measures 2" in diameter, the tea pot is 3/4" tall and wide and the cups are a mere 1/2" tall. More dimensions on request.
The white porcelain is decorated with small red and blue posies and trimmed in gold. Tray is marked; "Made in Germany" on underside.
Some of the pieces, most notable the cups, are rather crudely molded with some manufacturing flaws that may appear as chips. These irregularities all retain the final shiny glazing and are not damage. The hand painting is intact with no rubbing or misses.
Shown in the second picture with 1" scale furniture for size reference. This is not included but is for sale elsewhere in our shop.
