This sweet little dollhouse crib is made of soft non-ferrous metal enameled in pink and sits on 4 white rubber wheels. Made in 1" scale and measures 3 1/2" long, 1 1/2" wide and 2 1/2" tall. Welded construction and wheels mounted on axles allowing them to turn.
It is not marked but another example is shown in our reference book* where it is reportedly from Germany and dated to the first part of the 20th Century.
It is in nice structural condition except that one side rail has 'slumped' and broken. We imagine that this must have been done before assembly to the other pieces as it is firmly affixed to the bottom cross rail and the top break is tight and can only be opened with some minor force. The paint has chipped and faded some as the inside is a slightly brighter pink. All four wheels are intact but show some cracking of the solid rubber.
