This lovely little tea set was made by the Hazel Atlas Glass company in the 1950's. While the pattern is often referred to as 'Moderntone' we believe it is more correctly identified as the Sierra pattern.
Made of milk glass with fired-on color, the set includes the tea pot and lid in maroon, creamer and open sugar bowl (did not come with lid) in yellow and 4 cups, saucers and plates in maroon, yellow, dark green and gray.
The tea pot measures 3 1/2" tall and 5" wide overall, cups are 2" in diameter and 1 3/4" tall, saucers are 3 7/8" in diameter and the plates are 5 1/4" in diameter.
In very nice condition with no major damage but minor small nicks in the finish, most notably on the tea pot and a larger ding on the rim of the teapot lid.
All pieces are marked "HA" on bottom.
