This adorable little sewing machine would be perfect for displaying with larger dolls or antique sewing things. The base measures a mere 4" by 2" and the overall height to the top of the spool spindle is 5". The body measures about 3 1/2" by 3".
Made from a sheet of steel that has been folded to accept the added mechanisms that are screwed to tabs. The body is painted black and decorated with gold flourishes. There was once a name painted on the base which has worn off save for the last four letters; "rite".
We imagine that this worked at one time as there is a working pressure foot, hand-cranked wheel and, seemingly, all the apparatus needed to make it functional. It is now rusted and rather frozen in position. We have dusted it but done no other cleaning, oiling or other form of restoration so it would be for display purposes only.
