This lovely little table was made in Germany and the maker is thought to be Schneegas. Dates to around the turn of the 20th Century.
Made of light stamped wood with glued construction and a red lacquer finish. A lovely Art Nouveau design is embossed onto the side pieces, 'X' shaped stretcher and scalloped skirt.
Made in larger 1" scale and measures 3 1/8" tall. The rectangular top is 4 1/4" by 2 7/8". Shown in the last picture with 1" scale table for size comparison.
This over-sized furniture is rare and highly prized by collectors. This example is in excellent condition with no damage and little sign of play wear. We have shown all sides in our photos and also a close up of the area with a tiny chip. Perhaps some re-glues. Very Nice!
