These nature cards were printed from 1929 to 1933 and were presented by the Coca-Cola company to schools and children's clubs as a study aid.
The set originally had 8 series of 12 cards each. This example is missing set number 7. There is a total of 84 cards covering all aspects of the natural world; Earth, Air and Sky, Trees, Flowers, Birds, etc. Each card has a lovely illustration and brief description of the subject and also a study question at the end. The Honey Bee card, for instance, asks what we have learned about the life history of the queen, drones and workers.
5 of these sets have the original labeled band, two are missing. The cards are in excellent condition with no bends, tears, stains or water marks. The box is missing two tabs on one end, light tearing and overall signs of handling.
The cards measure 4" by 2 1/2" and the box is just a bit larger and 1 1/8" thick.
