If you love yellow roses and beautiful German porcelain this set was made for you! Consists of a lidded cracker jar measuring 6" tall by 9" at the largest diameter and a lidded sugar bowl and creamer at about 3 1/2" tall by 5" in diameter. Made by the Tirschenreuth Porcelain Factory and marked with their underglaze green PT mark.
The snow-white porcelain is beautifully decorated with a transfer or yellow roses and hand embellished with sprigs of gold enamel. The rims and handle details were hand painted in Roman gold. High gloss finish.
The mark dates these from 1903-1981 and the nice condition, style and shape tell us that they date to the latter part of this era. The transfers are thick and glossy with no wear or flaking and there are no utensil marks or signs of use except some very minor wear to the edge gilding. The cracker jar and creamer are perfect, the sugar has a chip in the interior rim and several shallow flakes on the bottom foot. None are visible when displayed and do not impend the function of the pieces.
