The dainty and delicate scalloped edge makes this small German dresser tray special. A line of gilded beading lies just inside the scallop and a delicate shade of purple highlights the cutout handles. This purple was also used to create four stenciled leaves that fall between the pink and white rose transfers.
This lovely tray measures 9 1/2" by 7 3/4" with 1/2" lip. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. There is some slight wear to the gilding concentrated around the handles. No scratches or utensil marks and the transfers show no wear.
Stamped in black on the unglazed bottom "PK Silesia" with eagle mark dating it to the early part of the 20th century, 1914-1922.
