Nice statue or large figurine of the Virgin Mary holding Jesus, the Pieta , down from the cross, of old chalk ware or plaster, and in good condition. It has a flat back with concave center, this was originally in a wood shadowbox under glass, the box came apart years ago but the lovely statue survived in good condition with a small chunk gone on the base, see photos. It measures 10.5" tall, 6" wide at the base and 2.75" front to back. It will stand up on its own. Very old religious item and lovely colors and details.
