Rare to find this old book , the famous commentary with apocalypse and anti-Christ theory, The Revelation of St John A new Commentary, by James J. L. Ratton, 1918, published by R. & T. Washbourne, London, probably from a Catholic and Orthodox perspective, Nihil Obstat F. Thomas Bergh, Imprimatur Edm. Can. Surmont. This is a hardback with dark green cloth or faux leatherette binding, in good used condition, has a small personal library red and white label on the spine, this is from the library of a Priest or minister, interior clean, some age darkening on the page edges, binding sturdy. Original Greek is given in the commentary. I have seen this book as being in a list of important books on theories of the Apocalypse.
