Nice older reliquary medal for St Elizabeth Ann Seton, an old medal with nicely detailed image of this wonderful Saint on the front and on the back a cloth relic surrounded by "Blessed Elizabeth Ann Seton Touched Relic". It is also marked Italy. This medal was made before her canonization in 1975 as it is addressing her as Blessed instead of Saint. She was the founder of The Sisters Of Charity in 1809. This medal is of a silver tone metal, not sterling, but of good weight and fine quality, and measures 5/8" across and is in good condition, with wear from age and being loved, especially on the back from being touched.
