Lovely old medal of the Virgin Mary, with her beautiful image on the front with "Virgo Virginum", and on the back the apparition scene at the grotto or Our Lady of Lourdes to St Bernadette. This is a small medal, measuring 7/16" tall, of a silver metal that resembles sterling but we think not, and is from France. It is in very good condition with mild age wear only.
